Let's Do Lunch
Author(s):
Leo W. Sears
A casting couch comedy about a sleazey Hollwood movie producer's worst nightmare. Producer Dan Silverlode hopes to seduce starlet wannabe Debbie Karp from Kansas. But just when it looks like his victim is snared, he is confronted by gun-wielding psychopath Harvey Cullen. Things are further confused by the entrance of Dan's own wife Sandra, who also happens to be branishing a gun. Looks like it's curtains for Dan. One reader said: It's Robert Altman's "The Player" meets "Love American Style".
